A big thank you to the Fylde Tramway Society!
We would like to record grateful thanks to our friends at the Fylde Tramway Society for a generous donation of £500 to help us with the additional costs we have incurred this year bringing in visiting trams to support this year's 'Brush car 80' celebrations.
Brush car 623 has been with us since June courtesy of owners the Manchester Transport Museum Society and has proved very popular on Heritage tours in its distinctive 'wartime' livery style. 630 joined us in September for the main celebrations over our Tramway Anniversary weekend thanks to owners the National Tramway Museum, and Peter Whiteley, and both trams are expected to remain with us until around April - so expect to see them out and about again on our Winter Gold and Santa Special events!
As well as support from the vehicle owners this additional financial assistance is greatly appreciated, and by helping us to keep our costs down this will give us the confidence to consider bringing in further trams on loan for you to enjoy over the coming years!
