totally Transport 2008
Sunday 22nd June
The Lancastrian Transport Trust (L.T.T.) once again hosted its annual transport extravaganza, Totally Transport on Sunday 22nd June 2008
Although the weather was not as kind this year as in previous times with strong winds blowing, the event was still hugely popular, with thousands of people in attendance, proving that this is the premier transport event along the Fylde Coast.
As usual, Blackpool Transport Services Ltd provided an excellent 'Vintage' tram service to Starr Gate, giving people the chance to ride some priceless vehicles right through the heart of the event. Along New South Promenade, many vehicles of all shapes and sizes were on display, with plenty of room for good photographs.
Inside the Solaris centre, our own Publicity stall was in attendance, and many people paid us a visit through the day, purchasing various books, mugs, badges, DVD's and videos. A number of new members also signed up on the day, and we thank all of you for your support.
All in all, another truly succesful event. If you haven't yet managed to attend a totally transport, then you really should consider next year's, which will take place on Sunday 28th June.
